Experiences

Sofia is a high school student, Rebeca is a manufacturing engineer, both having long Zoom classes, meetings. Thanks to COVID pandemic we are isolated and physically separated. We took Carmelita´s art lessons as a way of connection (self-connection and between us). The process was relaxing, good fun, mind clarifying, triggered creativity. It was very good for mental health. We learnt some technical skills like: how to use and combine colors, how to use different pencils and inks, all the textures that can be used in a painting. Some historic and contextual facts were also discovered.

We completely recommend the sessions. They meant communication and relation improvement during social isolation. We found a new way of expression through art. The only drawback is that time flied

P.S. We actually wrote this together.

When I was learning how to paint, I could trust her not only with developing my very beginner level, but also with speaking very naturally about insecurities or lack of skills. This helped me with feeling more comfortable with how I was doing my work.

She is an experienced artist with a very transparent attitude and friendly vibe.
